I have the Bose system. If I was to change the head unit only to something aftermarket. Would it be an easy change over to the stock amplifiers (I am assuming they are external) and speakers? I am assuming I would loose the center channel as well.
I believe there is an aftermarket module I can buy as well to keep the steering wheel controlshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png (http://www.mazda3forums.com/showthread.php?t=412928#) for audio as well.
I am wondering just how difficult and/or expensive the changeover would be and if it is worth the benefits of an aftermarket head unit.
As much as I love my music I love having my trunk space back and not having to put everything in back seat like my previous carshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png (http://www.mazda3forums.com/showthread.php?t=412928#).
