I purchased a car from there recently once I signed on the line, no one gave a rats *$$ about me anymore, terrrrrible terrrible service, and even the managers don't give a $**T about the customers.

:bangWorst experience ever. I not have bought the car from them if I knew this was going to happen.:bang

I had inquired about an accessory for the car and was ultimately put on without my authorization, and they ended up turning it around and charged me to have it removed!

Good car so far, but do not buy a car from them!

starting to get the feeling for every 10 dealerships, only 2-3 follow ethical and transparent business practices. surprised Mazda Canada doesn't give a shit or perform internal audits to at least keep its reputation from faltering by the hands of these idiots.

Sorry about what happened, sad but hearing this stuff reminds me to never return to my dealership.

I agree that any dealership shouldn't do work that isn't authorized so that fault is on them.

Unfortunately you shouldn't have paid a nickel so that is on you. I would have refused and if they caused more of an issue I would have contacted Mazda Canada. I know I make it sound simple but unless you stand up for yourself people in life will continue to take advantage of you.

Did you sign off on the work order that mentions the part being installed?

Nothing worse than feeling terrible after buying a new car. Ruins what should be an experience that puts a smile on your face the size of the front grill.

lol there's plenty of threads on here and other local mazda forums discussing how bad markham mazda is.... yet people don't bother researching and get surprised they got burned when they go there

+1 why wouldnt you go to a forum sponsoring dealership? or at least search the forum about the dealership first?

Sadly not enough ppl research the dealership before they buy a car. My friend just bought a brand new car, didn't research the dealer, I warned him. He signed on the line then they tried to screw him on his trade in (2008 mazda3) luckily I was with him and between the both of us the dealer flopped and he got his car. (2013 Mustang)

Very sad to hear about your bad experience.

Unfortunately, there aren't (understandedly) Montreal sponsored dealerships on the forum, since it's mostly aimed at TO.

And, dealerships are closing faster than Zellers stores in the area, there are only a handful of dealers left on the island. So that leaves in MTL people in a though spot. I got burned too.

But yeah, for those in TO, your best bet is to research and go to a forum sponsor. Also, in this specific case, I would've told'em I'm not paying an extra dime or I'm alking away from the deal pure and simple (assuming this was financed). If it's a cash deal, it's harder to walk out once it's signed... I learned that the hard way.

this was my first new car.. i guess you can say i lacked in experience... I focused so much on the car itself, kinda left out the dealers... consider it lesson learned.

It's hard sometimes when you are really excited about something. You shouldn't have to cover your ass when a process should be so simple and go so smoothly.

Everyone is out to make money unfortunately and will take advantage of you whenever they can.

that's how sleazy car salesman take advantage of people... they can instantly read your face and know that you are so emotionally caught up about the car that they can make you sign anything and know that they screwed you long before you realised it

its also an act of self desperation. i use to work at a dealership and every salesperson i saw was just standing around with no customers. its not like they get to sell a new car everyday (depending on dealer). they have families to feed and bills to pay. and if theres no money coming in, theyll do nearly anything to get every last cent from you when they get a chance. more people are flocking to get pre owned cars instead of buying new cars just because they cant afford it, or just want to buy a beater.
