If you had an otherwise stock Speed 3, that you intend to not to significantly modify....
Would you get all 3 Engine mounts form CP-E, as they are reviewed to not have excessive NVH. I think around $600, but really cool.
Or would you Just get a RMM, like the JBR for $110 and leave it at that??
I'm asking this, as I would like to get the most out of my car without doing anything that is going to potentially void my car insurance. (I read thet thread recently)
My thoughts are an ECU flash that they can't really detect, and the motor mounts that they can't really see.

I am new to posting, so I apoligize for any breach in etiquette.

CP-e currently has a mount sale through MSF.org (15% off)

The CP-e mounts are great, but the driver's side/tranny mount kind of sucks to install/do maintenance checks on.

I have the CP-e mounts at 75d all around, stage 1 RMM. Love having all three.

JBR has the side mounts as well.

The RMM is the important one.

The passenger side motor mount is easily visible. Don't really think insurance would care about mounts, its not like a 35r turbo.

A CP-E stage 2 RMM sound resonable then?

It's up to you. CP-e and JBR are well respected.

I'm happy with my JBR mounts (have all three) Mr Wilson helped me install mine, we found it a little bit easier to install compared to the cp-e. If I had to do it again, I'd still go with JBR. But it looks as if you already made up your mind to go with cp-e.

Jeezzz, went to the check out and the cheapest shipping method was USPS Priority for $53.

I thought shipping would be about the same for bigger orders, so we should do a group buy or something. WRONG! shipping for 5 of them USPS Priority to the same address calculates $265 for USPS Priority at checkout, lol.

Hey man, were these the ones you bought?

I know that the difference between 70, 80, and 88duro is how harsh the ride would be, correct?
For my car, 2012 sky do you think i would need the TMM/PMM aswell or just the rmm and call it a day?

EDIT: JBR has a special on their 70duro RMM for $110. It says thought, that it can only be used when combined with the other 2 mounts. Is this true? or just a way to spend more money on other mounts?

You shouldn't be doing hard launches on the softer 70a RMM just because you will be putting a lot of stress on the mounts with the amount of movement that would happen with a hard launch.

Having the 88a RMM myself it says I can do hard launches with just the one mount installed. It's all personal preference with how much vibes you can deal with.

I would suggest doing the RMM first to see what it's like then buying the side mounts if you don't mind the extra vibes and what the extra performance. Just doing the RMM makes a huge difference in performance and the vibes die down once the mount is broken in plus you will get used to it.

I'm getting a 70 Duro myself.
When I emailed jamie Barone he said the 70/80 would be fine on it's own with a conservative mod path (Intake, Stage 1 ECU flash). The mounts are good for daily driving with some aggressiveness.
Since I chickened out of an intake and a stage 1 tune, and since I have been offered a lightly used 70 Duro, I went with that.
Short answer, I was left with the impression from JBR that a 70 or 80 is fine, unless you are driving the car really hard, like drag racing.

Fellas, correct me if I am wrong.:chuckle

Any upgraded mount is awesome for spirited driving, you will love any upgrade from Cp-e or JBR. I would go fully mounted once you hit the bigger HP and torque numbers, 300+ is the number I am aiming for when I order the side mounts.

On a side note, someone should get the Cobb RMM :P

We get dinged on shipping huge. Maybe see if jrp would honour the deal.

Ill be honest here, i thought a 70dr was stiffer then the 88dr, which is why i asked if i needed all 3, BUT i really only want the rmm because i feel like the wheel hop is going to rip my car apart. Thanks alot guys!

Have all 3 JBR (88RMM 80 for the other 2) and love them. If you get annoyed easily I'd definitely not go with the 88RMM even alone. It's almost teeth chattering NVH, heh.
