OEM alarm going off for no reason

The OEM alarm went off twice for no apparent reason today. Nobody in my driveway and the remote is on the cabinet....:S

I have the OEM shock sensor by the way and the sensitivity setting has never been touched since the installation of the sensor itself by the dealer when I did the door recall.


Any ideas where to start investigating the culprit that's triggering the alarm?

I had this issue before, I solved my issue by replacing the hood latch pin.

Mmm, I might have a suspect here: The driver door latch mecanism. Correct me if I'm totally off on this. Here's my 2 leads:

1- The car still chimes as if the door is open when the driver door is closed AND the key is in the ignition.
2- The "Door Open" light in the dash takes 5-10 seconds to turn off itself.


P.S. Can a weak car battery can cause this too? I notice that my horn's tone is different from what I'm used to hear...
