Ok, So last week I went to florida so I parked my car at the airport
my mother I guess turned on the light and so the batter died and its been sitting there for 7 days in the winter cold
I come back from vacation trying to start it up so I jump start it and take it in to firestone to put in a new battery.
After driving for a bit I noticed that the car would shake when Im on a stop light or it goes to idle, The rpm would dip low almost stalling it
I took it to the machanic after it first stalled and He said he would reset the "ECU" and do an engine tune up and replace the spark plug
I then drove it for two days no problem however the shaking still continued but not as much and no stalling..
Today I drive to hamilton on the QEW and All the sudden I get a Check engine light. Can anyone help me determine what the problem is? :(
I did a oil change, engine tuneup, Idk what else I can possibly spend? :bang
Please help

*Side note* Before I went to florida, the dealership advised me to change the transmission pan because it was rusted and it was "Sweating" out oil slowly and Ball joint replaced

this is an automatic? check the fluid level of the transmission. if the dealer says its sweating out oil, the fluid level may be low. the torque converter can do some wierd things when low on fluid(such as a stall or near stall). welcome to the forums btw

My car used to do this when I would screw around with the electrical system. Whenever you disconnect the leads from the battery or put in a new battery the car forgets where to set it's idle so it has to figure it out. Make sure all the connections are tight and if they are then just drive it and trust me after like 150 km it'll be back to new. Whatever you do don't disconnect the battery again because it will start the whole process over again.

Is the defrosts on? That might be what ur feeling. And since you replaced the battery the car could still be learning your driving style. Which is why the rpms might dip low from time to time.

You will also need to get the code scanned to actually see whats the problem
