You will need to describe your problem in much more detail for any meaningful responses. Yes vacuum leak can cause the symptoms you describe but there are many other things that can cause those symptoms as well.
Also, vacuum leaks usually don't show up until 10-15 years or if someone messes up the vacuum hoses or spills oil on them. Simply put a vacuum leak is very unlikely on Mazda 3 because the model is fairly new and there aren't many things controlled by vacuum on this car, most things run electric servo motors.

Thanks Alot for the response, so what could it be? the rough idle did start out of nowhere so i have no clue what it could be, the car has stalled once or twice at a light. the rps dont really seem to be doing anything funny thats why im super confused with it. she feels like she is going to stall out at a light and then when i start going she is fine. when the car did stall out i saw a little jump in rpms and then the engine quit. i have heard rumors that mazda 3's dont have fuel filters and i figured that the care being fairly new the engine mounts should be alright.

what are some possible things that you think could be wrong with it?

any feedback would be great thanks alot.

Nothing happens out of nowhere. Things that may affect the idle or cause stalling from the top of my head:
- disconnected battery or a new battery
- purge solenoid valve done due to constant overfilling past first click at the pump
- a vacuum leak.
- very dirty throttle body
- a real bad batch of gas
- clogged fuel filter
- bad ignition coil, but it would cause constant misfire
- fouled spark plugs, would also cause misfire

Out of those I would look at cleaning the throttle body and resetting the computer first. If that doesn't help further diagnostic is required.
