Okay so today I decided to give my car a wash...It's white and then I starting noticing little rust? spots (little dots) along the entire vehicle....I've had it for only 2 months now. My buddy was saying it looks like surface rust. Any idea how this could occur and how to prevent it from happening more? I'm going to take it into the dealership soon because it looks awful

Search 'rail dust'. It's an issue that affects all cars, but white shows it the most.
Claybaring will remove them. Just make sure to do it properly and wax the car.
My CWP looks like crap when I washed it today. Clay it next weekend.

I haven't clayed my CWP in two years. Ugh it's gonna suck.
OP, you can also get a special wash that eliminates or reduces the rail dust specks without clawing your car. Search Wolf's Deironizing Gel. You can get it at eshine.ca

As mentioned it's rail dust. You can decontaminate the paint yourself by clay barring and using a de-ironizer or pay a pro detailer to do it.
Here's a thread with some more information.

i just noticed this on my car's trunk today in the sunlight. took some rubbing compound and some elbow grease to get it off. I def need to get the car clay-barred this spring to remove any other specks i haven't spotted. this Wolf's Deironizing Gel seems very interesting!

this comment wont help you but might give u another source of where some of this could be coming from. our cars are equipped semi-metallic brake pads from factory. the steel/iron particles come from the brake pad dust from usual wear and tear. this dust then gets flung around by the motion of the wheels and the particles then become imbedded in the clear coat of the paint. when the steel/iron gets wet, it rusts. as stated above, clay bar and seal it with wax before moving on.
switching to ceramic brake pads help, and the dust is easier to clean too.

It's actually a really good exercise for staying on top of paint chips and early signs of rust. Plus the car shines so much once it's done :)
