Tire size for Rx7/FD rims

Hello tm3~!
Do you guys know if 205/55/R16 tire will fit on FD rims(16x8)?

The thing is I wanna reuse my last tires(205/55/r16) for summer because its still has alot of thread on it and I don't want to buy fatter tires for this rim.
So if someone knows or someone with tire/rim knowledge plz enlighten me.

that size will be stretching on those rims..what are you using the for? everyday driving?

I was looking at a set and thinking in using for winter setup. Since they are super light. The sizing I had to get was 225/55r16 winter but was too wide for me.

Also check if the rims are gen one or gen two. Gen two had reinforced rims since the gen one crack.

225/50/16 or 245/45/16. 205/55/16 would work but you would get a mild stretch, but otherwise shouldn't be much of a problem since the sidewall is so big. if you were stretching low profile tires, that's another story!
