From Just this year alone! ...I get that same shit, EVERYDAY, ...atleast 2 or 3 incidences. I sometimes feel my car must be invisible, lol.

Surprisingly, no. It was a clean miss. I can't imagine how. He must have gone behind me with less than a foot to spare.

you need lights and sirens on your car to let people know your coming

You'd think that would help, but surprisingly no. I get cut off and and brake-checked more often at work than I do driving my own car.

I'm maddd raging right now! I hate incompetent drivers! I got a dashcam just like you b/c of these retards.
What's worse is when they come out of their vehicle and attack you for being in their way! "Why didn't you see me?" LOL

That plaza on video 3 is between IBM and Warden on Steeles. Brutal drivers. Its like an extension of Pacific Mall. A couple of weeks ago a driver turned into the one way exit on Steeles with a TTC behind him. Really, some people need their license revoked ASAP.

I had a guy come out of his car and hit the passenger door of my car. It was a bad scene. Blocked up Bayview for two full green lights in rush hour.

People gotta strengthen their driving skills or use a cool feature every car has... "Mirrors" oh and checking their blindspots!
Glad you didnt get into an accident!

Lack of attention. Probably playing with radio or on the phone.... The first one was a real idiot. He clearly didn't check before changing lanes, and on top of that kept riding the brake for no reason

It was a woman with a child seat in the back. She apologized. We didn't stop, but when I looked over she mouthed "sorry".
I can accept the apology I guess. Could have crushed me into the side of the bridge there, but better that she learned the lesson rather than continuing on oblivious. Hopefully she's more careful now, and that's the best we can hope for.
In case you're wondering why #3 video was muted, I made a very quick and loud "prayer" to my deity of choice after coming to a stop and realizing we were still intact. (That and my GF was reading out a restaurant menu and had no idea what happened...)

Hopefully your car stays in one piece. And no assclowns take it to pieces.

Stupid how #2 just jets off. I think #1 slowed down to apologize?
And #3 is common, in parking lots for me especially Yorkdale. They stop halfway in the lane and realize they're a bit close.
I'd be shooting green shells if it were real life. If bananas worked, I'd have a dozen in my passenger seat :)

I think you may want to take public transit for a little while before someone kills you though. Lol.

Thanks everyone for the "defensive driving" bit. :D Makes me feel good about it.
I have to admit, everyone thinks I'm paranoid in the car. I try to time myself so that if the other person does something stupid, I have enough room to brake. It gets tiring but it seemed to have paid off in the #1 video (although it was still pretty close). For example, when I'm turning onto an intersection and the opposing traffic is turning onto the same street, I always assume the other guy will turn into the far-lane instead of the near one.
Thanks, Seshan, for pointing out I was speeding. :chuckle I never claimed to be a law-abiding driver.

At the first part: That's how I am, If I'm making a left turn and I can't make it through the intersection and there is a lot of traffic, I don't even move up past the line, that creates the chance of having to turn on a yellow and if some ones coming who says they are going to stop for a yellow? and considering most people don't slow down for a yellow or a red light until the vary last minute you can't tell if they are going go through or end up turn right onto you. As you said, majortiy of people don't know how to drive and they turn into the wrong lane. This has saved my ass on a couple of occasions. When I was taking my G test the instructor even told me "You can move up" when I was making left, good thing I didn't listen to him since two cars went through a yellow and I would been stuck in the intersection on a red. I alway watch what other drivers are doing, I trust no one.
At the second part: No problem :P

Their licences shouldn't have to be revoked...the problem is they got their licence in the first place...that is what needs to be fixed. It baffles me how these people pass their tests.

I get stuck in the middle of an intersection all the time on reds...as long as you were waiting there before the yellow it makes no difference. I try to pull up as far as possible in an intersection so that another car can get in safely behind me but mainly so I can see around the opposite side left turning lane. If it turns red while I am in the intersection because three morons decided to go through the yellow at the last second I just wait it out. (as far as I know you can't get a ticket for that, someone correct me if I am wrong)
It is the people going through the yellow at the last second breaking the law not you...I just wait until I know that absolutely everyone has stopped for sure.

I would have knocked the guy out.
Couldn't really, there was a line up of cars all the way down the street behind us that were watching us. But I so wanted too. I got out, he went to grab me so I grabbed him by the collar and whipped him around the sidewalk. Then yelled at him to get back in his car and leave.
And Im not a big guy, but he was such a bitch.
He will one day do that to the wrong person, then he will get his.

Similar thing to #1 happened to me on the 400 the other night. Some idiot in a Ford Explorer nearly sideswiped me. Have also been in situations like #3 ( Those are one of the worst imo) and #2 really do want a dashcam now( If only I had the money) . I wish I could record these peoples dangerous acts when it happens and then send the tapes to the police ( dont think just saying he was driving recklessly over the phone on 911 will be sufficient evidence for them to get an officer out there) .

Actually depending on the day it usually is. This is usually traffic police #1 priority.
3 cops were dispatched to 403 and Winston Churchill for a driver exiting at a "dangerously high speed". The caller couldn't get the plate #. But 3 cops rushed there with lights and sirens.

If it wasn't in rush hour traffic I would have, I didn't want the cops to show up and end up charging me some how.
