Day time running light

Doe anyone know how to active the day time running light? I came to Waterloo from the states last year. Since Canadian government requires DRL, I went to Canadian tire to do the modification. But I think what they did is just keep my parking light on all the time. Right now even my tail light keeps on in the day, which looks stupid. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks very much.

Go to forbes waterloo mazda...I don't know who on here would actually bring their car to canadian tire.

Given that its been almost 5 months since this thread was created, I'm hoping the OP has figured out where to activate the DRLs
