Anyone ever own GP racing's products? Either the GR-3 or GR-4?

I plan on getting them this spring/summer at Simply's but I'm worried about replicas because the replicas on a friend's car are all bent and dented from seemingly minor potholes.
Granted, this may not be the case for all companies but I thought it would be a good idea to ask people who have more experience in this realm.

My goal is to keep the car for a minimum of 10 yrs (its MY2011) before I need to drive a minivan.
So will GP racing's rims give me 7 or 8 summers before they're ruined? (the stock alloys will be relegated to winter use with cheap winter tires)
Or should I do the family man thing and get steelies with more expensive winter tires and keep the stock alloys for summer?

That's a lot of of questions so please bear with me :)

I have the 18" GR-4 rims and they are holding up great. They are good replicas and not fakes.

i guess replica means theyre the same design but under a different name. and fakes are the same design and sold under the authentic name. anyways. gp racing are a good set of wheels. but dont go hitting every pot hole you see lol.

I mean replicas as not branded as the real thing with stickers etc. Fakes are branded with stickers etc. to look like the real thing.

this is reassuring thanks. I'll probably be getting the 17" GR-4 rims. Assuming the tires on the 17s are taller than yours, I think it would be better protected.

Try to find Rotas if you want replicas. They are jwl certified and follow all Japanese wheel manufacturing standards. I don't know about GP racing, but from the feedback it seems good. Not to mention a big shop like simply tire carries them.
