I know this car has been posted before. But I don't think this video had. (mods) feel free to delete if it is a repost

Wish it was easy to make my 3 this fast. This 3 holds it's own against Ferraris, Corvettes, Vipers just to name a few...AWESOME!

the car has a rotory engine in it, as far as I know similar to what the RX7 had...it makes me smile.

so...a lot of money...

The RX-7 and 8 have 1.3B engines. The Rx-7's was two turbo'd. Still two rotar engines. This has a N/A ported 20B which is a 3 rotar racing engine. Much crazier! Some guys out there put 20B's in their old RX-7s making anywhere from 400 to over 1000 HP. This has a welded in chassis and roll cage of course. Its been switch to rear wheel drive with a BMW dif. I would estimate the build at 60 to 80k plus the purchase of a base level Mazda 3.

its running a 20B which is the reason it sounds like a two stroke... mostly because it pretty much is

It's a two cycle four stroke hehe
Each rotor is like 3 cylinders. So a 3 rotor is a 9 cylinder engine, but perfectly balanced with no reciprocating parts.

I don't really care if they bring the rx7 back. It sucks to lose the lineage I guess but any new 7 won't capture the spirit of the originals. If I had the money for a new rx7, I'd much rather buy an old fb or fc and put the leftover money into restoring it. You'd never get the proper sports car feel in a modern car
