Anyone know of a good location to hide an amp for a sub? I was thinking inside the passenger side rear fender location. Not sure what people have done, and i can't seem to recall any threads with this done.
Thanks!

you don't want to just mount it to the back of your sub box?

Nope, leaves too many wires. I want to be able to take my box out, and just remove the 2 wires if i need to take it out.

on the roof, practically invisible from the inside.
jk. but i would prefer if you slapped it under the passenger seat instead of the driver. you tend to lower your driver seat correct? the foot space is instantly gone and rear passengers will start kicking at it... the passenger side however doesnt lower, so theres more feet room for rear passengers, reducing the risk of them kicking and damaging it with wet muddy feet.

Just curious if anyone else has done this, have you made a plate for under the amp to remove some of the heat off the vents if you have them on?
Id hate for the amp to run into protection due to heat. Lovin how it turned out. Very easy to access it, and you can barely notice it. Will pull out the DSLR once it warms up. Just gotta rig up the rear panel for a quick disconnect.
Edit: I'm not worried at all about people hitting it to be honest, Rarely ever to i carry around more then one person, and my Weathertech mat actually covers what may end up being stepped on pretty good.

Need to pull it out? Just disconnect.
Steal my shit? Sure, just disconnect please.

Hows it mounted to the floor?

Technically its not. I have a piece of wood so it clears the heat pipe on a couple dowels. Nobody suspects it the slightest, and you cant see anything from outside.

Not really concerned about cornering. I drive my car, i don't race it everywhere.
