Steering Wheel Mazda 3 2006

Hi!
I need help!
It's been almost 3 years I have my car and I realized that my power steering is on and off. I've been to the dealership and they told me that my problem is my
water pomp and they what to charge me 1,500$. Crazy!!!! Somebody told me that there is a recall on that but I can't find proof can somebody help me please?

The water pump and power steering pump are 2 completely different things.

Since you own a 2006 you don't apply and will probably have to pay for the repair.

I wonder why they would tell me it's the water pump the problem but maybe that's not the problem. I'm getting screwed here.
My car is starting to have multiple problems now :/
