To be somewhat on topic: You think the movie is going to be on par with the books? Good book to movie adaptations are so scarce nowadays.

Metal, this series you have there is a very different read than Enders game. I would suggest reading Ender's Game first, and then the shadow series which is based off another characters point of view in the Ender's Game book.

The movie has been in the talks a really long time.

I have to go back and re-read that book now, but I honestly thought that it was a little more futuristic than what the trailer gives us.

I loved this book when I was a kid. Made me look at a lot of things differently!
I still quote it with the youth I work with all the time. I always said to myself that this would be the best movie of life if someone with vision did it right!

F'kin right. Read this as a kid growing up after my parents skipped me a bunch of grades. Literally an amazing story and for anyone with a good head on their shoulders they will love it and relate. Hope the movie doesn't suck, fingers crossed.

I seem to remember reading the book and maybe I was too young or something but I really don't remember understanding it. Maybe I should give it another go...
