"Hello" message randomly popping up and rebooting speaker

Even when the speaker is off, every 30 seconds or 4 minutes the "Hello" message will pop up and the speakers will make some poping noise. When the radio is on, the music will cut and then start again after the Hello message.
Anyone have any ideas? I just bought the car used today and already this problem :(

Bring it back to the dealer? That kinda sounds like there's an electrical issue (wire break, something wrong with the HU itself, etc).

check the fuses. Mine were loose a couple of weeks ago, and my HU was doing the same thing. Turned out the fuse was loose. Haven't had an issue since.

Sounds like the stereo is just losing power and starting back up because the hello message shows up when the radio is turned on doesn't it?

Probably just a loose power or ground wire or maybe as Tuscani01 said, a loose fuse. Does it tend to happen over bumps?
