and i have no clue where to stick the strips way the area is i dont see a place to put the strips. Anyone else done this and figured out a good spot to place them(either 1 strip or 2)

I did this when I had my Protege and it looks decent at night. Don'y expect to notice it during the day.
- Anywhere not on the RAD is good of course.
- remember that LEDs tend to be directional, but at the same time, light does bounce, so perhaps on the inside of the grill pieces.
Do you have the mesh or lateral grill up top?

i just dont see a spot to put it other than on the radiator is. i consider putting it on the hood (bottom side) where the gap is there but the strip would be pointing straight down. also i wish my radiator was black instead of white will make the light look better
i wish take a picture of the area and upload it in about an hour and maybe thatll help.

Buy a piece aluminum angle at Home Depot etc. Mount that to the car, then attach the LED strip to it.

im gonna add in this thread that this kind of light mod isnt completely legal. white or amber only if you plan on using them on the road. even then, becareful because there is a certain number of forward facing lights you can have. if you plan on using anything colored, do NOT use them while on the road or if the vehicle is in motion. even when everything is done, do this mod at your own risk because its a very targeted "offense"
i did this for shits a giggles at one of the meets, and it looks rice imo

+1 to silverstarmazda, i had a strip in blue there, got stopped by police. Eventually got tired of the look as i wanted yellow fogs. If you are using white fogs thwn go white behind.

you could just stick it on the grill itself facing in, the reflection inside will still give you the effect.
As for what silverstarmazda said, you definitely need to be careful with another colour aside from white and amber. I have a blue strip on the underside of the OMG and connected it to my dome lights so it only turns on when I open the door or unlock the car, never had a problem with authorities because it's off 99% of the time. It's a nice little add-on
