Remote wire?

So i connected the remote wire to the fuse box to the fuse of the cig lighter. Is there a better place to connect this cause I dont like connecting anything in the fuse box.

You can directly tap it into the cigarette lighter.

Hyperion ran a remote wire for me using extended fuse so the wire could fit.

For 2007 I think the fuses are on the right footwell. Run the line there buy extended 15a fuse, turn off battery, stick the wire in and push the fuse in.

If you want to tap it in the cigarette lighter wire you have to take off the cup holder and get a wire splice tap. There's a tut if you search around for let's say DIY led cup holder it will probably tell you to tap in the same wire.

Cool tip found the tutorial you were referring to and will try it.seems easy enough but ill still be careful cause I think the airbag thingy is located there somewhere.

Hey Necro,
You didn't say what model or year you have....If it's a gen2, then check my sig for the link to my ice upgrade. Jalal and I used my stock deck, installed a 4 channel amp, replaced the speakers, and upgraded the fronts to a set of Alpine typeR comps...
I also took lots of pictures with explanations as clear as I could. And if you have any other questions, feel free to hit me up in pm ok?

Oh sorry I guess I should have mentioned that I have a 2007 mazda 3 hatch.Will check your tutorial and hopefully learn a few things.
