Rusting

Is there a way to prevent rust from occurring other than frequent car washes and checks for chips etc? I've seen these rust protector sprays/adhesives and such but do they actually work?

Krown, rust check etc

I've always rust proofed my cars/trucks and never had any issues with rust...

I've krowned my car since brand new and never missed a year and my 08 Mazda wheel wells rusted on both sides.
