Wow. The amount of detail and custom fabrication is insane

A bit too much for a classic but I can respect that. Love how the exhaust pipe goes up and under the wheel well!

I think I've seen this at an Ertefa meet. Looks awesome. Amazing work and detail.

wow nice to see the finished product.

saw a video of the frame being done at Switches and Thangs.

I'd have to re-mortgage my house to get into something like that.

It is an amazing piece of work... but also a sad butchering of a classic car.

The workmanship looks amazing.

Did he actually chrome the driveshaft too?

Also, How the help do you keep the alignment on something like this if it were to be a daily driver? lol.

looking at how clean the underside and engine compartment are, I'm guessing it's not even close to being a DD

This car is far, far, far from butchered. Not done to your style sure but not butchered in the least.

Everything is either chromed or hand polished, this includes the transmission, and drive shaft.

Alignment is basically out the window on these. They wear out tires pretty quick but 13" are pretty cheap. They are set up so that when they hop they don't blow the ball joints out.

It's not a DD, it was trailered to the location.

I would disagree with your assessment as a butchering, and call it a classic piece of art.

I'd like to know what kind of person has the money and decides to do something like this instead of buy a Lambo or Ferrari. Surely there are very few who would truly appreciate the Impala done this way. The car screams passion.

OK, Butchered is a harsh word...

But I'd perfer to see this car restored perfectly to original condition than modernized with hydraulics and servos and bags and such.

A rare, Old, Mint car is already special. No need to bling it out.
