Hey all,
Was kinda pissed the other day when I tried to press the info button on my 07 ms3 and realized that it didn't work. Just curious, want to get some more info on it before it tare it out. Can that button just be replaced or do i need to change the whole deck?
Also, if I do change the whole deck, are all the first gen the same or do I need to find an ms3 deck?
Info is appreciated, thanks!

Buttons are separate from deck. You should get '07 or up the 04-06 were different. You should be able to find a set as there are lots of people who have replaced their head-unit with aftermarket.

But if buttons are separate, wouldnt I just need to replace that individual info button?

Good luck trying to find just a button. If that's even the problem.

You will probably have to grab another unit.

you cannot get just the button.... the entire front panel must be replaced... expensive new, so you're best off getting a used radio

The front panel will need to be replaced. Keep an eye out on the BST section here decks can go from between 40-80 bucks on average. You can also try kijiji, tou won't likely find anything at a wreck yard.

For a temp solution you could always just rip out te button.

Good luck
If i were you, i would pull it out and see f you can glue the button back to the front panel using cyanacrolyte (hobby glue)

Info is much appreciated! It's not really a pressing concern of mine but I will definitely look into it. I just hate having to tear the dash apart. It's extremely simple but after doing it so many times it gets old ya no haha
