Hey Guys,
So I have a buddy at a dealership, and we decided to scan my car to see what the results for the etest would be:
Misfire - FINE
Fuel System - FINE
Comprehensive - FINE
Catalyst - Not Completed
Evaporative System - Not Completed
Oxygen Sensor - Not Completed
Oxygen Sensor Heater - Not Completed
EGR system - Not Completed
Evap and EGR system - are completely stock. I think I can get the sensors to ready if I follow the drive clean procedure. I hope.
Catalysts and O2 Sensor issues are the trouble. I have my 02 sensor unplugged, and wires cut so it doesnt throw a CEL.
Background: My car is boosted with the HiBoost kit. I run a Haltech F10X for fuel. This means the injectors are cut to the stock ECU, and there is no 02 Sensor in the car (just an aftermarket one for a gauge, but that doesn't count :)). To see how the Haltech is wired, and which wires are cut, see here: http://www.explicitcontentz.com/mazda3/haltech_mazda3.doc (The injectors and the O2 memory)
My thoughts: Run an O2 simulator. I am thinking this may help with the O2 codes, and "not completed" status. However, will the computer toss codes for the missing injectors?
Will update with some more info soon....
