looks awsome!! i found a HUD for cheap a while ago...forgot how much it was but im sure it under $80. but its really only useful at night when its most visible. the reflective film might actually become a visual obstruction...

EDIT: its about $30 for a VERY basic one and up to $80 for a more elaborate one

we used to have HUD on our old rendezvous, it was 'nifty' i wouldnt say cool. I know my radio presets by feel and have an ultraguage that tells me my speed/rpm. The one feature i do like is how you car use it as a GPS system

Looks pretty cool, but the technology is still in it's beginning stages. I'm going to hold out on getting one until the advanced features start rolling in.

I got excited by this idea, then looked at this video and kinda don't want it anymore, hah

That said - if someone has one, I wouldn't mind trying it out!

i think the plastic reflective film is supposed to be installed like a tint. spray water on the back and squeegee it on. i kind of want it for the novelty, but its kinda chunky lol

I miss my HUD in my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp G. I never had to look at my speedometer so I always knew how fast I was going. If you have a Blackberry Z10 there is an app called Gadget Box and it includes a HUD mode. thats what I use sometimes in my Mazda 3 SkyActiv

It's funny that my friends Aztec had a HUD but then I've never been in another car with it since.
