Check it out - Driver busted going 225km/h on the 401 today. Ridiculous... the guy is identified by name and as driving a Mazda.

i think it's a guy.. says "his" car was impounded..unless it's a he/she...lol

but at 8:20am with marijuana in your possession. he must've been high as a kite.

It's not a girl, Kristen is a unisex name and the article describes the driver as "he".

Anyway 225 is nuts :S doubt he was smoking though, he would be 100km/h on the dot lol

And if he was high and doing 225km/h he must have been on some other stuff other than marijuana... I am guessing he was on "speed" lol...

Has to be a Mazdaspeed, Mazda 3 only goes up to 180.

Not even someone just datalogging...as 4th ends well below even 180km/h.

That said, I bet there are a lot of mazdaspeed owners on here who have had their car over 200km/h...would suck getting caught. Be safe guys!

04-09 Mazda3 max speed is 188km/hr. Probably a Speed3 or RX8.

"26-year-old Kristen King" - He probably was just made fun of for his name for the millionth time, snapped, and went driving to vent off some steam.

...Hopefully he doesn't do any time for this - He'll never be the same... :chuckle

Edit: lets hope his middle name doesn't start with a K too. Evil parents.

I was actually at that highway. Driving my girlfriend to work. I exited to Dixon at 8:20 am. I didn't see anyone in a Mazda driving that fast. lol. Maybe right after I exited, then it happened.
