Hey everyone.
So I have been lurking around the forum since I bought my car in April and have done a couple of DIY mods to my 3 (My first own car, I love it). I am looking down the barrel of a .22 right now in regards to my wheels/tires. So according to the dealership (Moffat's in Barrie, they've been great) my tires are pretty much gone. My rear tires in particular were given a rating of 2/10 haha. On my own visual inspection they are cracked and worn and are probably the stock tires from 2011 (I bought used).
SO it looks like it is time for me to get new tires.
I've been looking around and I was given a quote for some Yokohama Avid Ascend tires (all seasons for now). But if I bought new tires now that would blow my plan out of the water for getting new wheels/tires next year because I would be putting them on the stock 15" and I wanted 16" or bigger wheels. So I asked about wheels and was referred to some DAI Mirage wheels by the autoshop guy (in Ottawa).
I do a lot of driving (about 1000 KM each weekend) between Ottawa and Barrie and was wondering if anyone here has any insight on the quality or recommendations on other wheels/tires. I already tried a search on here but didn't find much.
In case you didn't read all that: I am looking at wheels/tires. Need reviews for DAI Mirage wheels and Yokohama Avid Ascend tires. Or any other recs.
