I don't know what the deal is with used tires but can I buy a set to pass safety? I want to buy a used Mazda and Canadian Tire is saying they won't pass the present tires.

What is a good place in Toronto for used tires and how much can I expect to drop?

Someone might have decent tires they want to get rid of on the forum. What size are you looking for?

Yup, will definitely be going to kijiji, already found Mazda3 gt rims and tires for under 500. Definite pick up.

silverstar lol honestly I thought of that too. Do you think that could work? Won't they be like "dude, why you cruising on winters in the middle of summer?"

its not so far fetched lol. i just saw a camry the other day and it still had winter tires on hahaha. a buddy of mine also rolls on his winter tires all year round because they somehow aged rock solid, even though being only a few years old. its pretty amazing because they barely show any wear LOL.

theyll probably find it wierd but i think its allowed... however if your caught with the bald summer tires on the streets they might issue you a ticket. mud flaps kinda hide the tires though (food for thought lol) but its never safe to run tires that are worn to the wire

yeah, definitely i will be getting proper tires, i only have a few days to safety it or my Canafian Tire service ticket expires and i have to pay $100 for another safety test. so im going to throw on my winters for the tetpst and shop around for tires in the next few days

to get the saftey just put on your winters, as long as there is acceptable tread deapth and they are the proper size for the car they cant really argue doesnt matter if there winters summers or all seasons.
