So i feel my alternator is going to give out on me any day now. my car lights went crazy about a week ago and my lights flickered which lead to my car stalling. its been ok ever since but i still feel that i need to replace it soon than later. gonna get it checked out tomorrow but i just want to get a head start on where i can find a cheap and efficient rebuilt alternator.

are you absolutely sure its the alternator?? it could be a number of things (mainly the battery/wiring/alternator). get a FREE battery check up at a part source. theyll check the battery and the charging state of the alternator for FREE. it will only cost you 10 minutes of your life and youll be able to narrow down the part thats weak. you wont need to throw cash at parts that "might" fix the problem.

did i also mention its FREE???

Most part stores will carry these. don't buy from CT or part source. Go to a alt specific place that rebuilds. you will get a better quality one.

Ararat auto electric in Scarborough
IIRC it's about $110-140 with core exchange (but this was a few years back and with a different car LOL)

try a different store!

this,
theres dozens of part sources everywhere. if by chance ALL of them are down, go to canadian tire's automotive service and ask for a battery check up
