I'm running a Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD and I've been using a FM Transmitter BT option but I find the static is a problem. Is there a BT option out there that I could plug into the supplied USB cord for the apple connection on this deck that would allow me to play music/receive calls with my Galaxy S3?

I dont know anything about Pioneer decks, but my Kenwood deck has built in buletooth which allows me to connect via bluetooth to all my devices.

Maybe what you need to do is purchase the pioneer CD-BTB200 BT adapter so that you can connect all your BT devices straight to the deck without a third party adapter.

You can get the cd-btb200. But make sure its able to stream music through it. I have the f700bt. It has built in Bluetooth but only as a speakerphone. Not for streaming music.

I've looked into that adapter before. I believe it was around 200$ so honestly. For that price. Buy a new deck that will do everything you want

You can spend around $196 after tax on a Pioneet FH-X700BT deck. I use it and it has Bluetooth for phones and music streaming

Is the OPs deck old? I find it strange thereis no builtin bluetooth.
My kenwood is from 2009 and came with bt built in for both handsfree and music.

Definately not worth to pay 200 for the add on. I rather sell the deck and put the money plus 200 into a newer deck with BT/Nav/DVD

Its not that old but old enough not to be sold anymore.

pioneer had a thing for the older decks that only the high end ones had built in bluetooth. the new ones mostly all come with it now though.
