Alright so I have been leaving it for a while to see if it was actually a problem or not, but here it goes. My car is brand new, 3000 KM on it. It does a weird intermittent rumble during idle in drive and park. This happens without the A/C on.
It also drives weird in drive but drives smooth in Manual mode, I'm chalking this one up to a horribly weird ECU.
And one last thing is that when I'm driving at a constant speed and RPM I let go of the gas and the RPMs jump up about 300 and then tart to go down. The engine idles at between 500 ad 750.
I have taken the car to Avante where I bought it as well as Prima Mazda and they both say that they can't find a problem and they can't do anything till its worse enough where it sparks a Code (which it isn't), I think that this is total BS to say the problem has to break my car before they can fix it. Are these things normal or is there something wrong?

I don't know if I'm just being paranoid. Maybe I'm not used to newer cars.

I noticed weird things with my car at first too. I think it's because you're still breaking the engine in. I'm at 5600km now and it seems to have settled down.

Sell and buy a manual. This is the car Gods way of telling you.

Your car is still brand new and unfortunitly things arent ever perfect with mass production. It is possible that your vehicle is still being broken in. It could also mean that there is actually something wrong. Did you have the dealer take your car out for a test drive and let them see it for themselves? Let them know if this happena more often on a cold engine or when its hot. My dealer gave me a hard time until I finally gave my vehicle to them and said go drive it.

I brought it to my dealer and thy said everything seemed normal. The rumble is definitely muh more pronounce on a cold start and is less obvious when the engine warms up (although its still there). It also seems like its searching for RPMs

There is nothing weird with what you describe. That is just how the idle is in these cars. Doesnt matter if your car has 3000 or 20k like mine. If it idles at around 750 thats perfectly normal.

I used to be like you when my car was new, I thought everything was weird and there must be a problem. Just enjoy the car.

Thanks, I thinks that's just what I will do.
