August 25, 2013 - Meeting of the Mazda

I find myself lucky to still be on the admin team of the Toronto Protege Club even though I sold my pro almost 4 years ago. The people from this club are so friendly, everyone just wants to help each other out. And every year, I always try to make the Meeting of the Mazda. I am not the only one as I see other long time members who make special arrangements for this meet. Many don't know the stuff that goes on behind the scenes, but I've got to see the many organizational pre-meeting weeks before, the planning stages, the trophies making, etc. All so that on the day of, drivers of the mazda brand get to enjoy their day.

Meeting of the Mazda had always been a family event rather than a car show. There are games to play, and you can bring your kids and dogs to the park for an afternoon. The music is not your usual car show bass pounding tunes and the conversations are not just about cars. We got to see Jeff from long time MOM supporting sponsor Audio Heaven do the pie eating contest, and parents getting beat by their own kids at the limbo contest. And ofcourse, got to see a bunch of cool mazdas.
