nice grafiti wall since our landsdown park is being renovated

Justin brought his camera as well, i forget how having another photographer taking pictures will have a different eye on the scene. it opens up a new angle on how you shoot your subject.

anyhow, great turnout i think pictures are to my liking. but the link off photobucket reduces the sharpness of the pictures aarrrghhhhhh

Your car's beautiful man...how wide are the spacers you have? Makes the world of a difference aesthetically. Keep it up!

Hope you don't mind, but those leaf shadows were killing me on your epic 2nd shot. Fast edit in Photoshop.

I can just post it here. I copied the whole photo to a new layer in Photoshop, then used the brush tool to paint the proper white colour back on the car (sampling the colour from places where there weren't shadows). Use a low opacity soft-edged brush and do it gradually. The bumper was a bit harder and I used some masking and layering to get it right. Then I drew in the hood and door shut lines (they'd gotten erased) with the line tool and lowered the opacity to match the original ones.

For the ground I selected all the dark leaf shadow areas, and used a Levels layer to get it about the same tone as the other middle shadow. Then I used the Healing and Clone Stamp tools to get rid of most of the lines - admittedly this removed some of the asphalt texture and left things a bit uneven.

Lastly I did a levels layer to add some contrast and darken the bridges and background and make the car pop a bit more.

Amazing photos... Love the no parking one.

Quick question.. what is up with the rear view mirror? is it really 3 ft long? Or am I seeing things?

Haha yup! It looks like it's one of those wink mirrors and he stickerbombed it.

how did you calculate the size of adapter you needed? did you measure or was it trial and error?

trial and error, had so many spacers at my place so i just added and lowered more and repeat until happy :-)
