Hey guys, since the coilover issue is more or less dealt with so I have been pretty lenient to the other issues going on with my car. Mostly because all of them combined still aren't as bad as the noise I was getting. These issues are starting to grind my gears now too though. So here is the list:

Power Steering - On random occasions, I haven't really pinpointed a pattern, the power steering is noisy. The whine you expect when your backing into a parking spot is much louder and I hear it much more often, when it is occurring. I wouldn't have thought anything of it but even when the car isn't moving or when the wheels are straight its still whining. Not a huge deal but its concerning in combination with the next issue.

Something coming in contact with the wheel? - The best way I can describe this sound is the wheel of fortune spin wheel. It sounds like something hits a spoke or something each rotation of the wheel. I don't think its exactly that though as it would be making that noise far more often with the number of spokes I have. To get this noise to occur you must be accelerating past the speed of roughly 20km/h and have the wheel cranked all the way to the right - I have on a few occasions heard it when cranked all the way to the right but that is more rare. Also, it does it in reverse too, but that also isn't as frequent. You can feel it in the steering wheel slightly however doesn't seem to slow the car down, so what ever its hitting it isn't anything large I don't think.

Shifting in or past reverse into park - This has been popping up around the same time as the past two. When I shift into reverse or into park I get this slight shake but the noise that accompanies it is alarming. Its like a rumble kind of sound. Only when shifting into park or into reverse. Shifting out of either doesn't cause it. Its an automatic.

Rough idling - This surfaced with the first time I got water in the CAI. The second time it got slightly worse. I know it sounds like I am an idiot but both times there wasn't anything really I could have done differently. It was the stupid weather this year. Anyway, when the car is moving no problems. When parked it gets shaky, the exhaust note used to sound shaky as well but that has been slowly going away each day. The shake had gone away for the most part for a while but with the cooler weather I think its coming back.

Creaking in the rear - At first I wasn't entirely sure what it is but I am thinking it is the rear coil creaking. A lot - occurs on most bumps

That's more or less all of it. For now. Any help in any of these issues would be appreciated.

I'm getting the same rough idle did you try and clean the throttle body? there might be build up in it

For that wheel of fortune spin sound I had a similar issue. I found that I rubbed when I went through dips and my my fender kind of cut the tire a bit. Think of a hang nail. I just snipped the piece off and the noise was gone. However your issue sounds like it's something solid.

As for shifting (auto as well) I get that sound when I'm on an inclined surface. I find that it helps to press on the brakes more. That sound scares the shit out of my though because I feel like something is about to break.

Creaking in the back could be bushings or end links imo.

Hope this helps!

I know some new transmission fluid should quiet down that rumbling, when you're parking on an incline always always use the parking brake. (takes the pressure off the tranny) What I do is shift into neutral then quickly pull the handbrake, and then shift into park

The shifting I get on any surface. I do use the parking brake on inclines most of the time.

I haven't taken the rough idle too seriously as it has been slowly getting better - it only does it on the odd day now.

The creaking was actually gone for a while. I think it came back though. I did however notice last night that one rear coil is higher than the other. I walked up to my car and thought gee have I always had that much clearance? So I check the other rear and they have a noticeable difference. I thought maybe the drivers side is sagging but that doesn't sound right because it looks the way it always has. So is it possible for something in a coil to give way and actually raise the car a bit? I found an old picture at MoM that it looks normal so it must have happened at some point after.

Still since this stuff isn't major I'm just waiting for my next service. The car is still drivable.

well, looks like its time for some maintenance, lol, so...

Wheel of fortune sound: i would start with your wheel hub, sounds like there's a blown bearing

Power Steering: Start off with your belts, then move to your fluids (or vise versa which ever one is cheaper) you can maybe try and put a power steering additive in and see if this helps, if it does, i'd say your fluid would be the place to start.

Shaking while shifting into reverse or park: this could be your mounts, fluids, gear. kinda hard to just pin point and tell you that its one thing over the other without really trying one thing before the other, lol, know what im sayin? honestly with transmission related things (since its pretty costly) i would let a mechanic diagnose it.

Creaking in the rear: start with the most obvious, your bushings.

and for the rest, im not too sure of.

these are just basic general suggestions, hopefully one of the more experienced guys can give some more in depth advice.
