Will 225/55 R16 Tires Fit a 2013 Mazda3?

A friend of mine has brand new winter tires that are size 225/55 R16. I know that my Mazda 3 is 205/55 R16. Is it ok if I do this? Is it safe? And will there be any problems?

Depends on ride height, wheel offset and rim width. As an example, 225/50/16 and 245/45/16 are the correct alternative sizes if you plan on running wider 16's.

Besides 225/55/16 is going to make for one sloppy ride.
