I bought a demo from Gyro Mazda. @013 Mazda 3 Skyactiv Leather, Bose fully loaded.
The sales guy was a dick but I wanted the car and the price was right so I bought it.
About 4 days after I picked my baby up ( the car..lol) Me and a buddy were checking it out and I noticed my drivers side headlight was smashed on the inside. Surprised me because I sure as he%^% never hit anything.
Upon closer inspection it was obvious that someone at gyro had kissed the light and bumper but had repainted/ replaced the bumper but not the light. although it looked like someone had tried to buff the casing on the headlight. Small scratches from an orbital sander were visible.
I called Gyro right away and they tried to get me to pay for a new one..lol Yeah right. I demanded to talk to a manager or the owner. Luckily the head honcho was there at the time .
Anyway long story short the owner came out and was pissed one of his guys sold me the car with a broken headlight and they replaced it for free and gave me a rental for a day.
So far an ok experience with Gyro.

You should have inspected every inch of the car before you drove it home lol :P

Glad they fixed it for you though.

This. They may have 'fixed' the problem... But the fact that they delivered a new car that's been messed with is a HUGE deal. If i weren't an impatient mofo I'd have returned the car and walked to another dealership.

I'm generally of the mind that it isn't the problem its' the response... but it seems like if you hadn't gotten to an owner you wouldn't have gotten that resolution.

I'm also glad it got resolved, but that would be my flag to never deal with them again. If i didn't already know enough about Gyro's sales douches that is...

The car wasn't "new", it was a demo so it had been on the road already.

Cars are not like jeans .... you can't "return" a car once you've driven it off the lot.

I bought my car there, by the time the sales paperwork was drawn up I was quite annoyed. Their sales department and particularly the sales pitch for the rustproofing/window etching was quite extreme. Not fun. If I buy another Mazda I will probably buy one elsewhere but that won't be for a while.

As a side note, I've had my car serviced there many times without issue. Their service people are generally pleasant and they seem to do a decent job.

Yeah, demos are a real buyer beware issue. I wouldn't buy one unless the savings were at least 20%. Sometimes sacrificing a few features is a better plan.

I got my RX-8 at Gyro Mazda during 2007, the experience was ok, as it was a brand new car, and priced right. But I never went back there for service though. I go to Scarboro Mazda or Avante Mazda for service.

The people at this dealership sound terrible. Another dealership blacklisted.
