So i didnt use my 3 for like 2 days and when i went to drive my girlfriend home i started it and it vibrated like crazy. I've had a similar problem before on my 97 jetta and i instantly knew that it was a misfire code. After droping her off i started pulling connection and found that cylinder 2 was misfiring because when i pulled it nothing changed. So at 10:00 at night i got out my light and tools and pulled the spark plug out of cylinder 1 and 2 and swapped everything except the electrical connection. Out of luck cylinder 2 kept misfiring, so for the first time ever i took apart my fuel line and injectors hoping that it was just a dead injector and i can pop over to part source tomorrow and grab a new one and swap it. i swaped cylinder 1's injector with cylinder 2 and put it all back together very neatly. double checked my work and started the car. Once again with my luck cylinder 2 was still misfiring. I tryed tapping on electrical wiring with my finger and i didnt notice any difference in revving.
note: i havent done anything to this car in the past about 4 months the closest thing i did in the engine was check the oil and that was like a week ago.
If anyone can give me some suggestion on what to do, Im not the richest and would like to solve the problem myself and going to the mechanic is kind of my last option.
