Hey guys,
So I got in a an accident 2 weeks ago and my oil pan was changed and also the passenger control arm/axle was all changed. I used to have mobile synthetic oil before the accident and now the mechanic changed it to normal oil. Now when I am done driving and park, I notice a smell that's similar to burnt oil. I used to smell it before the accident too. My car is manual and could it possibly be the clutch? The clutch still feels good so that's why im not sure what it's. I also have a borla cat-back and a sri.

sorry for the long paragraph :)

The clutch doesn't smell like burnt tire. It smells much worse. If you want to eliminate that as a source of the smell, burn the clutch intentionally for a second and see if that's a different smell?

Give you whole engine bay a gentle, but thorough cleaning. Oil will stick around for a while. Might want to look into any rubber hoses or harness being too close to the exhaust system.
