White Flashing Side Markers?

So I am in works of getting rid of all amber turn signals on my car like all my previus ones.
Rear I have a white bulb in right now (Yes I know it is illegal but I have used the same one in my vehicles and never got a ticket over the last 8 years), Will go to red if I get hassled.
Front I have the same white that matches my HID's

But my side marker is the last piece.
Has anyone ever ripped one open and changed the bulb? I have looked all over and can't find a white flashing one, does anyone know where to get some?

its a sealed unit (at least on the Gen1's) and cannot change or replace the bulb.
You can look into aftermarket ones that are LED - or MAYBE try the older Protege or P5's as they look to be a similar size/style that MIGHT have a removable bulb

BTW - you shuold look into switchback LED's so that they change to amber when blinking / white when just lit.

Yeah, Mines a sealed unit one, just wondering if any had success opening it....
I wouldn't do the switchbacks because I am removing all the amber turn signals so it would defeat the purpose I am trying to accomplish.
I have looked all over ebay and have seen tons of LED ones, but they are all amber.

I will look into if the protégé ones though.

i had some leftover tint from my taillights (the scraps after peeling the cuts off the sheet) and just wrapped these up in it. Looks the same but darker

I ordered these ones posted on the thread from eBay. I got them in the mail already! Best this is it is all plug and play. One end plugs in to existing light bulb socket and the other end you plug in the bulb so simple and easy! Mazda needs to start thinking

I ordered them too and just waiting for them to arrive.
That's awesome they are plug and play, in the pic it shows you need to splice them so I was assuming you needed to, hopefully mine are the same.
Once these are in all my signals will be white (looks much cleaner IMO, I hate the look of amber turn signals)

yeah dude that's what i thought when i saw the picture aswell and i said to my self "oh boy that's going to suck" but happy they just plugged in and i was good to go! so jeffjones did you get yours

I got mine in and ordered the white bulbs but they go lost in transit, so he is shipping a new set out today (unless I can find 4 bulbs locally for $10)

Just picked up some LED bulbs, not as bright but like the look.
I needed 2 for the markers and 2 for the license plate lights.

the one's i bought are pretty bright i turn them on and i can see the reflection on the cars going the other way. oh well hopefully you are happy now that you got those.

The back I am pretty sure is illegal, but I have had my last couple vehicles like that for a long time and never bothered about it (even when all ready pulled over lol)
I just like the look lol

i found the same replacement housing on ebay. they come with amber lights, are the bulb types 1157? what did you guys use.

Go to the flea market with those amber bulbs and ask for white l.e.d. Peanut bulbs. Compare it and it should work with NO problems
