So far all we've been given is the photo of the TSB. Call your dealer and reference the info on that page.

After that link was posted in the original thread it was closed. Along with the second one you made (done slowly as I'm my phone right now). I assume you're just getting used to our navigation, so no worries. Might as well keep all discussion in that thread however so it's ask in one place for future reference.

OK thanks. I have a subscription to alldatadiy.com but when I asked them why this TSB is not viewable yet they gave some excuse about updates for tsb's are done quarterly.

I noticed this on a drive home one day before I did my throttle body cleanout. I'm a manual, so everytime I'd creep to a stop and press the clutch, the engine RPM rises a bit and the lights would pick up (obviously). I cleaned my throttle body and it helped. I think that their code in the PCM is a little flawed, too, if it can't keep up with adjusting the alternator field current. I also had a PCM update done last december.

I'm surprised tsbs would make it to a site. It's not a recall or repair for all vehicles and only should be applied to vehicles with issues. To prevent those from having it done who didn't need it and found it in a website. I can't post anymore info then what I put in the other thread. Has dealer information for the claim and codes and nothing that would make sense to anyone who doesn't work at Mazda.

Well my lights flicker when the car is idling and when the brakes are applied so I am going on Monday to have the computer reprogrammed. I just wanted to know what reprogramming needed to be done.
Thanks
