Hi guys, my apologies for reposting as I know there are tons of posts about tire balance.
I recently had the 3 Year maintenance done to my M3 2011 at my local Mazda. Perfect timing for the oil change and to swap on my winter tires. It costed about $265 tax in as expected and an added $90 for an overdue oil transmission flush or something. Heh, a little pricey for me but I'll probably consider somewhere else next time. Any suggestions welcome.
Anyway, after driving the next day or 2, I started to notice slight vibration on my steering wheel when driving on highways between 80-100 km. I wonder if it could have been the tire swap. I called mazda and they said they'll have a look but if there is something that needs to be done, it's gonna cost me $60 as its an additional service. Do you guys think it should be free of charge and included with the maintenance? Is Balance and Alignment different service charges? ...steering wheel seems slightly off pointing close to the 12:01 mark.
