I know its a GM dealership, but it's where I got my 04 Mazda.
First off we bought the car for a set price. Then they brought in a surprize 400 on top of the price we already agreed on. The next day tghe call me and told me that they need to charge me another ~200 dollars for paying the amount in full. WTF.
Then we got mad, and the dealership said we'll split that cost, and even with all these extra fees I still had to pay another 95 for licencing. Like all the money they took from me wasn't enough.
I get the car finally, drive it off the lot, and go to Burger King. Turns out that the gave me the car with a burnt out light. On top of that they lost the spare key
Part of the deal was that I get the old used Winter tires of the pervious owner. The next day, I got another call that they gave me brand new tires of another car and they have my used tires back at the dealership. So I went back and got my extra key that they finally found, I also got the tires. Then I took the tires to my mechanic buddy and it turns out they tried to give me two 14 inch rims with the standard 16 inch rims of the car. I called them pissed off as fxck and they tried to play games with me, finally I sent over my dad and they swore at him. My dad got serious and told him this isnt the way you treat customers. They knew their mistake and gave him two 16 inch replacement winter tires for their mistake. I've never been so mad at a dealership in my life.
DEAN MYERS IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP ON THE PLANET.

I have not been to a burger King in years...I thought they went out of business. Those chicken sandwiches are amazing and a whopper after a night of drinking!
Is Dean Myers the dealer on Yonge St just north of Steeles? A buddy almost bought a new Lacrosse from there but backed out last minute after some f**kery

by OMVIC's regulations, the dealer cannot add any additional fees on top of the advertised price. if you agreed to a set price, that's it. they cannot tack anything on. call OMVIC.

Okay, first things first, I had a fantastic double whopper, and i went because I was starving.
And I already signed papers for the set price and I didn't know about OMVIC's regulations. I wish I did.
annd thanks bro, it is a cool story. Read it twice if you want.

Well tbh, I don't ever want to deal with Dean Myers again, so i'd rather just let it go and not waste my time with it. Life is giving me enough grief, I don't need to add more I guess. :/

How is it a waste of time to write a complaint to OMVIC and maybe get some money back as well as get even with someone who screwed you but not a waste to write one here....
You took the time to create this thread
Someone gave you a valid option with a way to possibly do something about it. So here's your chance to do something
Threads like these get locked real fast.

For the most part he took all if the replys like a champ.
On the flip side, if you can get some money back or perhaps even make them pay a little bit for a simple letter, You should be all over that.

I got it for 7200 after taxes and all, it came with 77777 Km's on it and had some nice features like auto lights, auto wipers, and cruise control. I dont know if those features are optional but I just bought a Eonon GM5151 (In the mail...) for it so the car should be perfect now.

This is the email response
Good Morning Michael,
Thank you for sending your inquiry into OMVIC.
The fact that the vehicle was a consignment makes the arguments that you have a little more difficult. That said, you may complain to the owner or general manager of the dealership about your issues and request a resolution if you would like to take things further.
If you have spoken to the General Manger or Owner and the response has not been favourable, I would suggest you write a letter to the dealership (General Manager or owner) with your concerns regarding the situation and ask for a specific resolution and response within 5 days upon receipt. I would recommend this letter be sent by either registered mail or email with a read receipt (this way you are certain that they have received it). If they do not respond or they respond negatively to you during that time frame, contact me back and I will attempt to speak to the dealership on your behalf.
It may be a good idea to speak with the Ministry of Transportation Enforcement Officer and get their input. Their phone number is 1-877-843-6731 and when you speak with an operator ask to speak with an enforcement officer. Enforcement Officers of MTO are the ones that regulate the safeties in the province.
The dealership is still responsible to make sure their paperwork discloses any material facts on the vehicle such as accidents, etc. The dealership doesn't have to provide you with a carproof/carfax but they need to make sure that any disclosures are written on the bill of sale. You may pull your own vehicle history report at your own discretion and cost. You may find carproof/carfax on the internet by googling their names.
Please be advised that I cannot force the dealership for a specific resolution on your behalf. If I am unable to resolve the complaint on your behalf you may pursue the issue civilly in Small Claims Court. You should obtain a legal opinion before pursuing this further to find out if you should be pursuing the dealership or the private individual.
If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me. The reference number for you is 2732871.
Kind Regards,
xxxxxxx xxxxxxx

Truth be told I think it would be too much to chase after them now but just take it from me, if anyone wants to move on to another car, just never go to Dean Myers.
On the bright side we all have our burger king! :)

You sure seem to be doing a lot of work, and making other people do a lot of work, for not wanting to do any work.
