401 Dixie Mazda

Just remembered an odd experience I had at 401 Dixie Mazda. Back when I worked in Mississauga, I would do some of my scheduled services at this place (I think it used to be called Ontario Mazda?). Anyway, one day I realized that they took the liberty of replacing my plate cover with one of their own. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I was back at home, but it was pretty annoying. Honestly, I don't understand how a dealership could do something so stupid :bang

Erin Mills Mazda did exactly the same thing to me when I took my car in for an oil change. I was and am still quite irritated by this action since the licence plate protectors I bought from Canadian Tire were free of adverts and of better quality.

report theft. they are touching things that dont need to be touched and literally just taking something you bought with your money and replacing it with something you dont want. its not just dealerships either... other "shops" ive been to have a tendency to just unbolt and take things. my old bumper no longer has the new plate bracket that i bought. just so happens that 2 fender washers that i installed to hold the plate on are also missing.

The fact that it's fine without asking the customer... Breaks trust. I'm comfy going to Avante Mazda they take good care of my car and if anything they take the time to go into detail as well as wash my car :)
