Hi all,

Sorry for the noobness but I'm not well versed in car "stuff". I have a 2010 Mazda 3i 4 door. It has Bridgestone tires on it that say P205 / 55 / R16. Can someone recommend a good snow tire set for me? Does SimplyTire have a discount from these forums for their shop? They seem to be recommended from what I can read here. My driving consists of a short commute in city each morning and then back and forth from TO to Niagara on the weekends.

What brand / size tire would be decent? I would need the tires with rims installed and balanced or what have you.

You need to do some reading..there are many, many, many thread on witner tires on the forum.
Simply Tire is a great shop, and is a sponsor, look here for details - http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?72763-SimplyTire-6th-Annual-TM3-Massive-Groupbuy-Winter-Packages-Tires-2013-2014

A lot of the Mazda Dealers off fairly reasonable tire + rim packages this time of year. I picked up the Gislaved Nordfrost 5's for under $1000 mounted and balanced. My biggest reason for picking these was due to the fact that they are a quiet tire and have excellent wet traction characteristics. I should be able to get about 4-5 seasons out of them.

Similarly, my friend just picked up the Michelin X-ice and they appear to be quiet, too.

Will do. I was reading reviews and found that the Bridgestone Winterforce 91S seems to be well received.
