Hi,
I have a Mazda 3 2010 GX, GF was driving it this morning, called me and said car won't start. The car is covered in snow from the Saturday storm but has been parked indoor at a underground parking lot, it didn't melt, the car dashboard said it's around 2 degrees. She told me when turn the keys to ignite the car, she could hear cranking sound for a few seconds from the engine then just stops. Headlights, radio and other things that uses electricity are fine. I wasn't there in our parking lot so I did some googling, and told her to turn the steering wheel and try to start the car again, and it worked.
So I'm really trying to figure out what is the cause of this problem? We had maintenance on Sat(oil change, filter checks etc) , and also replaced a broken horn at the dealership.
much appreciated.
