Look at all that plastic exploding out of the front in the mazda3 test! I was rather shocked to see just how solid the cabin is. It looked like once the crumple got to the A pillar, that wall stopped dead and the car didn't budge further.

The passenger side doesn't seem to go off. Im watching it on a phone but can clearly see. I could be wrong but the last section of the tape shows the passenger side pretty well.

Probably didn't go off because there wasn't anything in the passenger seat.

That was my thought. Turned them off for this test for recording purposes. The head rest is missing as well.
Watching the video its easy to see how airbags save lives.
