2006 Hatch radio display won't wok

Just noticed my display isn't working, but the radio lights are fine. What should I look for to fix it?

replace it with an updated version
the 06 ones tend to be crappy and mazda had to replace a bunch under warranty when they first came out

you can't fix it... there's no serviceable parts or documentation on how to fix it
just replace it... it's a separate piece from the radio.... go to the junk yard and get one from an 07 (anything built before june 07), it should have the updated part and will work...

there's a small screwed on cover behind the display... the updated part has some lot numbers stamped on them, but the original part has no numbers at all... look for the ones with the numbers

if you can't find an 07 but there's an 06, make sure it has the updated display that was previously replaced by the dealer

you can also try your luck on ebay.... just make sure they have pics of the back so you can see if there's the numbers on the cover or not...
