Yup screwed us up good. There is no one code of manners when it comes to smartphones. Actually each person has their own code and many people's drastically differ.

Flagrum_3

Why is this directed at me lol...The whole phone thing is a date killer for me, unless it's an emergency I don't touch my phone or expect my date to either....Just disrespectful in my eyes.

I think people should also take into consideration the age of the relationship. A relationship between 1 hour old and 2-3 Years old is much different that relationships that are 4-6 years old, etc. Being on your phone on a date in a new young relationship is rude, but the older the relationship is, the less you care about these little stupid things/rules. Its the only way a relationship continues for long periods of time, or else you just get on each others nerves.

Someone once left their backpack in my car with weed inside... when I got back, it was like someone had hot boxed my car. I was raging haha, especially because I've never smoked in my life and the smell was disgusting. That person didn't think there was anything wrong with what he did, I made him walk/wait for the bus and I drove away. He never did it again lol.

One time I hot boxed my car...

When the seatbelt is all twisted up after they get out of the car and then they close the door on the seatbelt because it didn't retract properly.

Anyone else have a lot of passengers smack their heads on the door frame getting into the back seat?

My first successful thread :')

What was really happening: hair, makeup, shaving her legs, shaving other areas, changing into another outfit, looking in the mirror, going back to the first outfit, hunting for her other shoe, changing purses.

I figured out another one.

My 86 olds has a bench seat, as well as my old truck. Any time I went to pick up friends (girls) they would refuse to sit in the backseat. They both had to be up front.

Not to bad but having them climb over the center console at 120km/hr is a little sketchy.

ok I gotta ask...how long does it take you guys ready for a date? Why does it always take longer than when the guy said he will be there?

If a guy says he will be there to pick you up at 8:30 why isn't it possible to start that extra 15/20/25/45minutes early so that you are still ready for the 8:30 mark? lol

I honestly do not get it.

Because it's impossible to know for sure how long it'll take. So many factors... how we're gonna do our hair (different styles take longer than others), sometimes it takes longer to put on makeup depending on what type of date it is and how we want to match it with our outfit. Then we have to pick out an outfit and this can change many times lol. We can only estimate that it will take X long to get ready but sometimes we've underestimated and end up taking longer than we had planned :P

okay, fair enough, ladies need extra time but e,g if i said were going to dinner friday made reservations for 8 and say i'll pick you up at 7. that's a lot of time to decide what you have to do to prepare. i just will never understand

The real trick is getting a girl to understand that her time is not more valuable than yours. Making someone wait is disrespectful.

If I do something every day of my life for 20+ years, I have a pretty accurate idea of how long it will take. My girlfriend NEVER makes me wait because she understands the importance of punctuality and more importantly understands that her time is not more valuable than anyone else's. Sure there are extenuating circumstances sometimes, but generally we show up when we plan to.

Basically if a girl is constantly making you wait, she's either inconsiderate of your time (and probably you in general), or she's ugly as fu and needs juggalette levels of makeup to cover her hideousness.

I wouldn't say extremely unnecessary. I dunno about you but I'm not completely into the whole hairy thing lol. Feel like Steve Irwin crawling through the Jungle. But hey that's just me. Certain things aren't necessary granted but when my girlfriend gets all ready god damn does she ever look amazing.

and exactly! but just because someone takes a long time to get ready dose NOT mean they are going to be late, even if a girl takes a long time to get ready, it doe not mean she will be late.

Although i shouldn't talk because i take a long time to get ready, i just like taking my time and i usually end up getting side tracked.. but all my girlfriends are always ready on time .. so i wouldn't generalize and say all women take a long time

also i have never had to get ready to be on time for a guy.. the only guy i go on dates with is my car, and he is always waiting for me, and never gets mad aha
