Speeding 15 over - cop wrote the wrong date on the ticket and it was never entered into the system, he never tried to correct it and reissue it to me :)

Fail to obey stop sign - fought the ticket, they didn't send me disclosure so trial was delayed and I filed a Chapter 11b, it got thrown out.

Improper use of HOV lane - I got into the HOV lane and was about to get into the right turn lane (like 100m away) when cop pulled me over, was trying to explain it to the cop but he wasn't having it. This was when I was driving my dad's car before I got mine, and my dad forgot to give me the updated insurance slip so I also got a Failure to show insurance or something like that. Fought both tickets and the cop didn't show so they got thrown out.

I've had pretty good luck with having tickets thrown out lol

$20 parking ticket because I forgot to display my monthly permit.... :bang

that said I complained to the campus and got my money back after I had paid for it ( had to pay first and they would then consider refunding me... much easier process than not paying and going to court)

Parking ticket where he was waiting for it to expire. I was 1 min late.

Close call in Montreal for tint probably, then an acura integra flew by and the cop peeled out after him instead.

yup he forgot to put my drivers licence number # and it wasn't a yellow arrow it was a yellow light, he got wrong subsection...

he didnt pull me over till 2 minutes later at the next intersection its like he was debating to give me a ticket for something EVERYONE DOES??

$25 parking ticket at the UofG in 2013.. that's it for me..

Paid it but wasn't happy about it; in Guelph you can park on city streets until 2am.. apparently at the UofG.. from 7pm-7am you can't..

It's not even directly on the road.. where I parked, it's a designated spot during the day.. just ridiculous if you ask me.

75 over in Nova scotia on the Cabot Trail very close to my grandmother's house (Just north of Ingonish). I was caught by her neighbour (RCMP officer) and was given the full ticket, something like a $450 fine. She knew before I got back an hour later.

Edit: Here we go. Ticket was $395, this was back in June of 2008 with my MS3.

not gonna jinx it but I thought I was invincible until 5 years ago in my genwon ms3, got pulled over for doing 60 over in a 50 zone. The cop gave me a break because I was ticket free for 10 years. Back when I was at college at Seneca@York, parking was a daily challenge as I couldn't afford/didn't want to pay for a parking pass and found very little free legal parking on campus. Everyone told me back then that it's cheaper to just pay the tickets rather than get the pass and that because I wasn't a officially a York student I wouldn't even need to pay the tickets to get my diploma. Fast forward to a few years later after submitting my application to graduate, I immediately received a call from York parking services asking that my tickets be paid in full. The damage came out to $2500. After talking them down I managed to bring the cost to about $1200.

That taught me to be a bit more diligent prior to taking my chances with anything :-)

I've gotten 2 tickets. The first ticket was because I got caught alone driving with my G1. 110 fine and suspended card for 30 days. The second PISSED me off! It was rush hour tried to avoid all the traffic made a left turn onto a residential street and the cop stopped me and said I'm getting a ticket because I turned at a prohibited time 4-6pm. He asked why I said I didn't see the sign which I was honest. I received the ticket and on the way home I was looking and found the signs

$550 for Failure to stop for a school vehicle.

I was heading northbound on hwy6 at approx. 630 AM last year in a torrential downpour, i was in the northbound slow lane and as i came up the hill i saw a bus INITIATING its stop (Sign was NOT out) and even at 80km/h there was no way i was stopping in the ~50 meters between us (Mind you we were 6 full lanes apart, at no time was anyone in danger) and as i passed by, two unmarked cops shot out of a concession and pulled me over.

I fought it in court and it was all dropped fortunately. Ended up setting me back ~1200 in legal fees but my driving record remains intact.

Not me but a buddy of mine.

We were driving home from my cottage in two separate cars. I was a head of him and had to pass a guy who was obviously driving drunk. My buddy passed him too, he got up to 140km/h in an 80km/h zone. OPP pulled him over, he had his vehicle impounded $2500 and his license suspended for 3 months. We were about halfway between Bancroft and Peterborough...his car went back up to Bancroft and the OPP drove him to Peterborough where his dad had to pick him up. But it gets worse, after that ticket he managed to get 2 more speeding tickets of which both were not reduced due to his previous speeding ticket. His insurance is now close to $15,000 a year...needless to say he will not be driving for a while.

Back in the day when I was in college at Seneca@York, I was faced with the daily challenge of trying to find affordable parking around campus. With the average daily rate at something around $14, this was no easy feat.

People had always mentioned that it's okay for Seneca students to rack up parking tickets and not pay them as we were not truly enrolled at YorkU, we could still graduate without ever paying the tickets off. There was living proof of this in fact or so I thought.

After 1st semester almost every day I drove to school(60% of the time)and got a ticket. I became increasingly reckless with my choice of parking feeling as if I was leading some sort of freedom movement for those that were too cheap to pay up or who simply couldn't afford it.

I left college when I found a job and a couple of years later decided to finish my diploma,I had a few credits that I needed to earn before I could graduate. Once I sent in my application for graduation I was immediately called by YorkU parking services and explained that I could not graduate without paying my tickets off and my grand total had hit about $3000. I managed to talk them down to $1500 and paid it off but this taught me a valuable life lesson that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Well my first ticket was a 35 over a month after buying my car. I asked the officer if he could do something cuz I just got the car and didn't want my insurance would go up. His excuse was "maybe they won't care". Got HELP to fight it went from 35 over and 265 to 29 over and 155. Second ticket I was doing 120 in an 80 saw the cop looked in the rearview and she spun around so I immediately pulled over. About 2 days ago someone broke into my car and smashed 2 of my windows out and luckily enough the cop I dealt with for that was the one who pulled me over. I forgot my drivers license too and she gave me a 15 over and a warning for my drivers license. One for turning on a no turn between 3-6. No points 110 fine. But my favourite one was for "failing to Yield". I did a u-turn right across from Beavertown Lumber in Acton and according to the cop I cut another car off (the other car was going from an 80-50 and was 200 ft away and slowing down). Cop was a real a hole and told me I had definitely done it and if I didn't like it ill see you in court. So I did just that. Took it to court (had to go to Milton) and the cop parked right beside me and started staring me down. So anyway i went in and sat down. Prosecutor calls up my cop and the cop starts arguing and gets really aggravated and is asked to go back to his seat. Prosecutor then calls me up and tells me that the officer has no notes about the case and therefore my case is ultimately thrown out! I went up and the judge said ok your free to go. So as I was walking out of the court room I stared right at the cop and gave him the biggest smile I ever could. He was pissed and he deserved it for being a big d bag for something I really didn't do. Since then no tickets *knock on wood*

2nd was in my m3...(How could I not speed on that :$)
cop caught me 30 over, but she pulled me over in my workplace parking lot :S, just as I pulled in and parked...:flaming

nothing on the speed3 yet. trying my best not to get caught.
Luckily these tickets have not affected my insurance significantly, but i know im on my last straw...

Got one a couple months ago in Warren, MI. All these streets vary between 35, 40, 45, 50 and at any intersection they can jump up and down. I got hit doing 45 when it was 40, because i turned on from a side road, i didn't see the speed change about 100m back. 5mph cost me $180. Such bull.

Only one, knock on wood. 46 km/h over on the 401 just west of K-W about 7 years ago. Plead down to 29 over.

Rolling stop while listening to Riding Dirty.

Never listened to that song again.

Was listening to Technologic by Daft Park. I've never listend to that song since and have zero desire to hear it played again.

Got a ticket driving my friend home late at night with a G1 on Canada Day with cops crawling around everywhere. Got put in the back of the cruiser and breathalyzed, then got let go with a $115 ticket. Took it to court, cop didn't show up.

In 2010 a cop nailed me for running a red even though I was making a right turn at a yellow light. Gave me a huge ticket, about $350. I then spent about two weeks on the HTA forums building a big case to defend myself. Went to court and the cop didn't show up. Threw out all my notes :)

2012 I got hit for doing 60 in a 40, although I was in a pack of cars and doing 50. Went to court, cop didn't show up.

Since then I haven't taken any chances, other than the random bursts of speed when no one is looking :p
