Just a important Public Service Announcement. Top Gear UK will be returning for it's 21st season this Sunday Feb. 02. I believe it goes on 8 or 9 pm local UK time GMT 0 so if you're EST it'll probably be at your local "sources" by 4 pm.I live for this TV show, so should you.

I dislike how the topgear.com website side doesn't like mazda much. At least the 3 boys tend to say good things about most of them (speed 6, miata, rx-8, cx-5, etc)

Mx5 in the middle east special, red mpS back in season 6ish, hammond loved the rx8 when they played golf, and the cx5 caravanning in season 20. They seemed to all like the cars.

They were quite quick with season 20. Maybe a few weeks/ 1 month? Streaming is also an option.

Episode 1 was ok. Not strong enough to start the season. Next week will be good.

dont even bother watching it on BBC canada. They cut alot of the show off just so they can fit their stupid ads in the 1 hour timeframe. Id rather torrent them and watch them in full. Or atleast they shouldnt cut the unboring segments ( star in a reasonably priced car maybe has 1 or 2 good jokes but the rest is just blabbering about stuff that is commonly seen in talk shows... i just skip that segment all together).

I wished they'd picked better 80's/90's hot hatches, Clio Williams/306 GTi, a functioning GTI, Pulsar GTIR, etc, etc. Really show how good those cars were. Skipped through the star minus his lap.

Excited to see the P1 next week, minus having to hear it. Can't stand how it sounds, needs a dose of 1LR-GUE-10 soundtrack.

Agreed 100%. I was bored, and it all seemed too ridiculously scripted. Like some of the stuff they used to do I was never sure if it was scripted or not, this episode made no attempt to hide it... which made it feel too cheesy for my liking.

for sure, like with the supermarket sweep, i thought hammond would try to actually speed through and drift around but then he came over teh line on his side, I was all annoyed he didn't even try, they just went for the lame joke

But yeah, JDM cars don't get much limelight in this show. Take the Lexus RCF on EP.1, lasted a nice 10 seconds.
EP.2 wasn't anything spectacular. The Alfa Romeo 4C was ok. The McLaren P1 was sort of plain really. All they've been showing is the car running. Not enough engine, interior, and wtf is up with all this street driving???

Actually was happy not hear much of the P1's engine note + it looked super awkward driving around Bruges with the front suspension in its highest setting, but great along the Kemmel straight.

Warming to the 4C's headlights, though I thought the challenge ended up wrecking the flow of the review.

Great episodes so far except for the 1st one. Top gear crew will play a guest appearance in a new episode of Phineas and Ferb on Disney XD march 1st.
