Battery box clips

I have a 12 3GT. While removing the battery box lid on a very cold morning, two clips snapped off. Mazda says this is not covered by warranty as "I did it" and they were brittle due to the cold. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the box easily removed and replaced? Any idea of cost?

yup, they're like glass... you have to be very careful not to put too much force on those clips

Happened to me this week too lol... they are pieces of crap but I am just gonna rig up something as a new clip.

Some heavy duty velcro or whatever fasteners I have the garage will fix that though.
