Tail Light Tinting

I am going to tint my tail lights red with vht nightshades and I was wondering if anyone has advice on what clear coat/ polishing products to use and what order to do it all in. Also if anyone knows how to remove the taillights on a 2010 mz3 hatch it would be extremely helpful!

1. Open hatch
2. remove interior pieces
3. remove wiring from lights
4. remove 3 nuts from lights
5. pull outwards
6. wet sand lights with 600 grit
7. spray as many layers of vht as wanted
8. spray 5 layers of clear coat
9. install in reverse order
